Due to the increasing size of the IT team and the increasing demands made on it by staff and supporters we decided to implement a job tracking system to handle incoming requests. After a review of what was out there in the free software world 4 applications where selected and measured against criteria we had identified as requirements for the system. These applications where PloneCollector, Request Tracker, OTRS and IssueTracker.
